Privacy Policy

Customers who scan a QR code

• No account is required and we do not ask for your name.
• We use a random, anonymous session identifier (stored in a cookie for one day) to count scans and link your rating to any feedback you choose to send.
• We record device type and browser family. We do not store your IP address.
• Private feedback — including any optional contact details — is shared only with the business whose QR code you scanned.
• We never sell personal information.

Business owners

We store your account details (name, email, phone) and business information to provide the service. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. You can delete your account and all related data from Settings.

Google

When a customer taps “Open Google Reviews”, Google's own page opens. Anything posted there is governed by Google's terms and privacy policy. StarQR cannot see or change reviews.
